The Snowy Owl by Wild Republic is a proud new member of the Audubon Bird Series. In the western hemisphere Snowy Owls are found in Canada and the northern United States during winter months and in the far north even beyond the Arctic Circle during summer. White feathers from head to toe help adults blend in with wintry surroundings as they search for prey. They perch silently and still right out in the open looking for birds waterfowl rabbits lemmings and mice. Snowy Owls hunt during the day and at night. Wild Republic has partnered with Audubon to create this line of genuine plush birds. Each bird's lifelike design and detailing is the result of input from Audubon. In addition the authentic sound in each bird has been provided by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This bird is about 9" long.
